Our hospital and staff are equipped and prepared to provide life-saving critical care at a moment’s notice. We’ll handle your loved one’s situation with the utmost compassion, doing everything within our power to achieve a positive outcome. Thanks to our partnership with GuardianVets, urgent medical services are available for your pet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Some of the signs that your pet may require emergency medical attention include:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Ingestion of a foreign object or toxic substance
  • Broken bones
  • Cuts, lacerations or puncture wounds
  • Vomiting or diarrhea lasting longer than 24 hours
  • Bleeding
  • Trauma, such as a fall or being hit by a car
  • Swollen or tender abdomen
  • Difficulty urinating
  • Lameness
  • Disorientation
  • Foaming at the mouth
  • Convulsions/seizures
  • Loss of consciousness

If you notice any of these signs, seek help immediately. Whenever possible, we recommend calling ahead when an emergency occurs. This enables us to evaluate the situation, provide first aid instructions and prepare the hospital for your pet’s arrival.
